Gridless - A Chess Re-Invention

Tired of memorizing Chess openings? Try Gridless
This is the biggest problem my game, Gridless, is trying to address.
I love Chess; it's a brilliant and enjoyable game full of interesting tactics and strategies you can use to play against your friends, hopefully win, and prove you are the best. Recently, however, I reached a rating of 1000 on chess.com and realised that to get ahead, I will need to start learning some opening theory. Gone were the days of experimenting with fun moves like full-sending my Queen and building ICBM's from out of left field.
Gridless is the embodiment of freedom in this regard. Pieces aren't locked to a square grid anymore; the possible moves you can make are endless. There are no right or wrong moves, and no AI to tell you how much it sucks.
Play the Alpha and be the first to discover new strategies, come up with new rules and game modes, and leave feedback to developers who will actually listen.
Thanks,
